WHAT TYPE OF FABRIC DO WE USE AND WHAT TYPE OF SHADES DO WE MAKE?

We use typically cotton or linen fabrics. The type of cotton depends on the size of the shade and the length of the fabric. We use gold harp and finial lampshade rings. The shades are custom and we use designer fabrics. We have at this point 189 different fabrics so we typically will order fabric to make a customer's shade. We recommend that if you want two shades that match that you order them together because if you order a matching shade at a later date, sometimes the dye lots are different or the print on the fabric may lay out differently. Sometimes we'll order fabric and the shade of the fabric may vary or the fabric is not available anymore -- which rarely happens. Under those circumstances, we will inform our customer and allow them to change their choice of fabric or refund their money. We recommend if you're not sure of the color of a fabric or you don't know if it will match your home that you request a swatch. Our aim is to please and accommodate our customers. We mainly do drum shades because I tend to buy fabrics that have prints that are difficult to use on conical or empire shades. The fabrics tend to rise up in the back of the shades. So I love fabric and I like to buy what I want and I don't think that's going to change anytime soon, lol, so we're sticking with drum shades.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR ME TO RECEIVE MY SHADE?

We allow ourselves 30 days to make you a custom shade. Why so long? Because things can go wrong. Fabric and products don't always ship as fast as they should or we might have a problem with the fabric we receive. The good news is we try to get our shades out within a two week period. It doesn't always happen, but please always let us know if you need your shade for a specific date. If we can do it, we'll try to accommodate you.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I DECIDE I DON'T LIKE MY SHADE?

Just let us know. It is perfectly fine for you to return your shade. We give our customers two weeks to return the shade to us. The customer is responsible for paying for shipping. If we are capable of giving you a shipping label to return it, we will be happy to do so and we'll just deduct it from your refund. If we receive the shade in the condition that it was sent in, we will then give you a full refund.
